O’Shaquie Foster to Defend his Title for the First Time Against Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez in a 12 rounds WBC junior lightweight title Fight

Cancun, Mexico

WBC world super featherweight champion O'Shaquie Foster will face a tough test as for the first time, he defends his world title belt when he travels to Mexico to face Eduardo Hernandez “Rocky”.  Foster as we know, is no stranger to facing Mexican opponents after beating Rey Vargas in February to land the vacant WBC 130lb title, and he will now look to do the same on October 28.  Hernandez however is a dangerous threat. He will be relishing the opportunity to challenge for a world title on home turf and comes into this fight on a ferocious run of form with six back-to-back knockout wins. Foster (20-2, 11 KO) spent three fights as “silver” champ before finally getting his shot at gold when Shakur Stevenson lost his titles on the scales. Foster cruised past previously featherweight champ Rey Vargas in February. Fight will be live on DAZN

Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou Clash in a 10 Rounds Heavyweight Fight

Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou Clash in a 10 Rounds Heavyweight Fight

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Tyson Fury is ready to step into the ring for the first time in 2023 as he clashes with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia. This fight is a hugely anticipated match-up, and while Fury is the heavy favourite, the powerful Ngannou still has a puncher's chance. The highly anticipated 10-round showdown is a non-title fight, yet Fury claims there is more on the line for him now than in any of his previous battles. The self-proclaimed "Gypsy King", Tyson Fury, six-foot-nine heavyweight, who has a record of 33-0-1 (24 KOs), briefly became unified heavyweight champion in 2015, when he toppled longstanding holder Wladimir Klitschko. He was later stripped of two of those titles and vacated the three others during a period in which he suffered from mental health issues leading to alcoholism, recreational drug use and extreme weight gain. But he went on to compete in one of the great ever boxing trilogies, against American Deontay Wilder, winning the WBC title back in the second of those bouts. Cameroonian-French Ngannou reached similar heights in his UFC career, knocking out one of the greatest heavyweights in UFC history, Stipe Miocic, in 2021 to become the UFC's first-ever heavyweight champion from Africa. The 37-year-old was stripped of the title after leaving the UFC in January, having failed to agree terms on a new contract. He has not fought since he defeated Ciryl Gane by unanimous decision at UFC 270 in January 2022 and that win was Ngannou's sixth in a row, adding to his record of 17-3-0. Fight will be live on ESPN + and PPV.
