The 29-year-old dropped back-to-back decisions to Devin Haney in Australia and will now look for his first win since the Lopez bout. Kambosos is rated No. 5 by ESPN at lightweight, and a victory should bring him one step closer to another title shot. Linardatou (14-2, 6 KO) last fought in July 2022, when she beat Aleksandra Vujovic. Linardatou's only losses have come to Katie Taylor and Delfine Persoon. Eimantas Stanionis and Vergil Ortiz Jr are now officially set for a clash on July 8 date is now set in stone, as the two welterweights will headline a DAZN card from AT&T Center in San Antonio. the 25-year-old Ortiz (19-0, 19 KOs) has been battling COVID off & on since 2020, and it just keeps coming back on him again & again. Though Ortiz says he feels great, it’s difficult to know how much COVID took out of him. Some people are never the same after a vicious bout with COVID; in Ortiz’s case, he’s struggled with it for three years. Stanionis (14-0, 9 KOs) has had his own physical problems, dealing with an emergency appendectomy last January. If not for that, Ortiz and Stanionis would have fought on March 18. It’ll be good to get the Stanionis vs. Ortiz fight out of the way so these two can move on and fight other opponents. There are a lot of other fighters in the division that would like to get a shot at Stanionis’ secondary WBA 147-lb belt. Fight will be live on DAZN
