Former unified heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. has officially signed a multi-fight promotional agreement with Matchroom Boxing, marking a significant new chapter in his career as he targets a return to the top of the heavyweight division. The announcement reunites Ruiz with promoter Eddie Hearn and the company that was involved in the biggest victory of his professional career.
The deal signals Ruiz’s intention to reignite his career after an extended period of inactivity.
