It's pretty obvious ghosts of the mauling Devin Haney suffered at the hands of rival, Ryan Garcia still linger on, refusing to fade into oblivion.
The 25 year old former undisputed Lightweight champion appears constantly haunted by doppelganger memories of that night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday April 20.
In effect, Haney has made a request to DAZN to remove the footage .
DAZN refuses to delete all footage from their platform, of the fight against Ryan Garcia. They don't want to pretend it never happened.
So now Haney is in talks with YouTube. He sent them a request to remove it off their platform.
In the lead up to the Haney bout, Garcia failed to make weight; coming in three and half pounds above the limit of 140. His pre-fight crazy antics befuddled many.
Garcia won a majority decision but the results were annulled after tests revealed he was positive for the banned performance-enhancing substance Ostarine.
Garcia is currently under a one year suspension and a 1.5 million USD fine.
Earlier Haney's legal team threatened law suits against Ryan Garcia.
Would DAZN and YouTube oblige to Haney's demand?
