Henry Malm Secures Big Win To Resuscitate Ghana's Hopes.

Ghana's Henry has earned a second victory for the West African nation at the ongoing World Qualification Tournament in Thailand.

Ghana's first win came when Theophilus Allotey outpointed Hungarian opponent Bernarth Attila in the men's flyweight category.

Henry Malm, who joined the team prior to the Accra 2023 African Games hosted in Ghana encountered Libya's Bilrashid Mohammed in the men's Light Middleweight ( 71kg) category.

The unanimous win for Malm gets him through to the round of 32.

A native of Bukom, Accra; a neighbourhood famed for producing credible world beaters, Malm, a product of the Discipline Boxing Club, is poised to grab a spot for the Paris Olympiad.

But the young lad has a few more fights to guarantee that berth and needs to stay focused and primed.

In another development, Commonwealth Silver medalist Joseph Commey aka Jaguar is through to the round of 32 with a walkover against Bajoku Shpetim from Kosovo.

The hard-hitting Commey advances to the next stage and must win three more fights to clinch the top spot in the men's Light Welterweight category.

The casualties thus far are Amadu Mohammed and Mark Kojovi Ahondjo.

Albeit, Team Ghana is still on course.
