Jake Paul Now Fighting Mike Perry Instead Of Tyson

The scheduled bout between " Problem Child " Jake Paul and Boxing royalty " Iron " Mike Tyson is on hold, at least for now.

Paul, 27, is now scheduled to fight Mike Perry in a Cruiserweight contest on July 20 in Florida.

Perry replaces 58 year old Mike Tyson who has been forced to withdraw due to among other reasons, concerns about his health.

Jake Paul would however fight Mike Tyson on November 15 in Texas.

Concerns about Tyson’s health issues became apparent when he suffered an emergency during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.

Paramedics rushed on board the plane to treat Tyson upon its landing in Los Angeles.

Mike Perry's only bout as a professional boxer was in March 2015 against Kenneth McNeil.

The fight was a four rounder at the Pensacola Bay Center.

Perry lost by technical knockout in the final round.

The 32 year old Orlando, Florida native ventured into Bare Knuckle Fighting in November 2021.

He's currently undefeated in six fights as a Bare Knuckle fighter.

Nicknamed " Platinum, Perry stands at 5"10" and should be a formidable opponent for Jake Paul, whose professional resumè reads nine wins, and one loss with six knockouts
