Ryan Garcia's B-Sample Still Positive For Ostarine

Following his huge win over Devin " The Dream " Haney in April, Ryan Garcia was still basking in the glory of victory when reports indicated that he cheated in the bout.

The banned PED Ostarine was discovered in his samples.

This led to serious backlash and controversies which appeared to mar his dominant win.

The 25 year old Californian born lad dismissed the findings and declared his innocence. He expressed hope that the results from the B-sample would exonerate him.

Dan Rafael has reported via X that Ryan Garcia’s B sample results were returned Thursday a.m., 1 day after being opened.

The lab reports and the B samples, as expected, matched A samples — both are positive for the banned PED Ostarine related to VADA tests the day before & after Haney fight.

It's quite unclear and too early to determine what this outcome portends.

But leading up to the bout against Haney on April 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Garcia was acting strangely and actually raised many eyebrows. Apart from that, he also missed weight by over 3 pounds.

As a result, despite suffering his first professional career loss, Devin Haney still held on to his WBC Super Lightweight strap.

KingRy's immediate reactions to the B-sample results were that of defiance, " I don’t care, I'll never make money again with boxing. Your loss, not mine. Joke on y'all, " he posted.
