United States — Ryan Garcia has named IBF/WBA/WBC and WBO world light champion, Devin Haney as the next target on his list after he is done with Gervonta Davis on April 22.
Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) and Gervonta Davis (28-0, 26 KOs) are scheduled to clash at the T-Mobile Arena on April 22 in a highly anticipated bout. While there is no title on the line, Garcia and Davis will be risking their undefeated records to determine who is the better fighter.
Despite having a knockout machine awaiting him, the Golden Boy signee has already named Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) as the next in line for his fast left hook.
"Right after this we calling out Devin Haney. Bring on Devin. That’s another prime-on-prime fight. Bring on Devin. I fought him six times in the amateurs. Now we need to have the seventh one," he said on Bradley Martyn's Raw Talk Podcast
Garcia and Haney have a long-standing rivalry from their amateur boxing days where they faced each other multiple times in tournaments. With six bouts between them and three wins to each side, a seventh meet is all that is required to determine who is the better fighter and reignite their rivalry.
